Aura Hub is an independent community service. We are not affiliated with the Australian Taxation Office, Services Australia, or any government agency.
2. What we collect
Personal information you provide when booking an appointment, submitting a scam report, or contacting us — typically your name, email, and a description of your enquiry. We never ask for your TFN, myGov password, or bank login.
3. How we use it
To respond to your enquiry, schedule appointments, send reminders, and improve our service. We do not sell or rent personal information.
4. Storage and security
Information is stored securely with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to authorised volunteers and staff who need it to provide the service.
5. Your rights
You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by contacting privacy@aurahub.community.
6. Complaints
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, contact us. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
